can't fumble the ball after running for 5 yards if we want to win. we are actually running it ok. just shot ourselves in the foot.

Gus is being stubborn, staying with his tendencies of running on first and second downs. We shouldn't quit running the ball, but frick, how about mixing things up more on the early downs?
