Correction: The Shoneys used to be where the CVS is now. Highlands/Pulse used to be Legends, The Huntsman, and something else before it became Grider-Land

Oh, that's right... Was a couple failed Asian places before they finally gave up on it.
Dixie Wings is a bit farther down

Do you know where? I've been saying for years that Whataburger and Krispy Kreme would make a killing in Auburn...step 1 complete

Twitter page says "Old Auburn Bank Location" and that they'll be opening in April
Posted on 1/15/13 at 9:28 am to The Nino
Krispy Kreme is never going to happen

Can anyone tell me why KK will never come back here?
Posted on 1/15/13 at 9:33 am to WarSlamEagle
I believe they had a failed store here iirc.
Plus, KK isn't doing too hot right now. They expanded way too much way too quickly a few years ago, and it hurt them financially

We're sitting at the border of the Columbus and Montgomery distribution zones, meaning they get no new out-of-store business, where a lot of their money comes from.
So if one was built here, it would either have to rely on mostly in-store sales or cut into the other locations' sales a good bit.

I thought that was just a Dunkin'
Posted on 1/15/13 at 9:37 am to TheSandman
Dunkin didn't even have a store in Bama till 2-3 years ago

Yeah. My dad says that he was in school 20+ years ago, they had a KK that had an all-you-can-eat doughnut buffet after a certain time at night.
I love KK, but Square D over on East University by the Winn-Dixie is really good. It's just too far away from campus.

Gotcha.
I always thought we didn't have a KK so the Black Engineer Society could still have a legit fundraiser...dozen donuts for $5 on the concourse, my brother!

This was the account's second tweet.
RT @WhataburgerAU: You know when you were a kid and you found out Santa wasn't real? Yeah, it's kind of like that. #rushfarmhouse

Most likely that was an ATO fricking with people then if they put that hashtag.
