If we are using Bama logic, the offense is going to get 4 times better after more practice. If that is the case Auburn will average 400 points a game.

Serious question not a flame at all, but why does auburn play 1's vs 2's in the spring game, I would think you would get a better picture of where you are with 1's vs. 1's imho.

Injuries. Plus Gus treats this game as a showcase for the fans. Wants to give them something entertaining to watch

I like it myself. 1's go against 1's in practice. The 2's are the ones who need the most work. This will help them more than if they were going up against the 2 O, IMO.
