Sounds like Tulsa is giving the NCAA the finger and allowing Harding to play. He is already enrolled so they are saying he alreadyalready is eligible based on being at Tulsa pre rule change

That's good. I wonder what the NCAA could do to Tulsa if they gave them the big Ole frick you!

If Tulsa just ignored them, I don't think there is much they could do. Nobody seems to care about the NCAA now but their own conference admins + wherever money is coming from

If the NCAA grew a spine and used similar penalties for using ineligible players they used in the past they could vacate any wins Tulsa gets next and ban them from their conference championship & bowl game for next year.

I guess what I am saying is, say NCAA "grew a spin" and put those restrictions. The way things are going and with an issue like this that is ridiculous, what would happen if nobody cared?

Bowl games aren't run by NCAA, NCAA doesn't schedule games and Tulsa can just keep their own record books.

I realize how absurd that sounds and it wouldn't happen, but just pointing out that the NCAA power comes from people listening to them. If Tulsa just ignored them and other teams were okay with scheduling them etc, NCAA really couldn't do anything about it

Playing an ineligible player would be beyond stupid, if you're Tulsa.

Not my point. I am talking more in the general sense, if a school had some power, say a Texas/Notre Dame type school, they could just give the NCAA the bird
