Wonder if this is one of those things where he needs to go home and get his mind right. I didnt read he had been dismissed, but that he had left by mutual consent. That could be Gus telling him go make up your mind and let us know. Has happened before.

He had the lowest completion percentage when targeted of any CB in the entire conference but spew whatever shite you'd like because you've done it with both him and an All-SEC 1st teamer in JJones

Jones will be good. Trovon was never good. He made a few good plays but got his arse handed to him too many times. He got lucky on a few big plays too. No way around it.

Jones has some good potential but Trovon was no football player. He looked like he was scared of contact.

He was only going to be redshirt freshman. You act like he is a redshirt junior. The coaches would've been dumb to NOT redshirt him last year because our depth last year was just as good as this year's. So I reject your premise that if he was any good, he would've played by now.

No he didn't.

and we should not just discount it because he left
I'll discount anything I feel like. And I'll discount Burton. Ryan Davis is second string on the depth chart. I'll take that as he is better than Burton. Gus has shown to play FR who can play. Marcus Davis, Tony Stevens, & Stanton Truitt all saw snaps as TFR.

Depth is a good thing
It sure is. And if playing time is the reason he left, then the depth he provided was minimal.

He got burnt on half the plays there were thrown at him.
Oh, you're one of those.

Love the way you're in here white knighting for the kid who tucked tail and ran (if playing time is the real reason, a kid who didn't see one live snap in an Auburn uniform) yet have no problem shitting on the guy who stuck with it at Auburn for 5 years.

Y'all can trash whatever opinionated shite you want about him but the facts speak more. To even be remotely close to this number with a DLine that made them cover for way too long is extremely impressive.

Edit: Rams haven't cut him yet either I don't believe so what does that say?

"He gets burnt CONSTANTLY" 9 catches allowed in 13 games played and 300 snaps on D

You are totally wrong. And trust me because its the internet. I am saying that we should not discount him as we do not even know what the deal is with him. Do you have some inside info that tells us he "tucked tail and ran"?. I have not seen that. If that is the case, then its on him.

But, we should not look at a player who still has plenty of time to develop and say its cool for him to leave because he sucked. Sorry, dont agree.

"Any good" and "THAT good" have two totally different meanings.

And yes if he's as good as everyone acts like he is then he would've played his true freshman season and would've been on the radar to make the depth chart this year.

Could be have been a solid WR doesn't the road? Maybe. A game changer down the road? Not likely

Okay then, I disagree with your "that good" statement. Myron could have improved incrementally during his redshirt year and the A day was the product of his efforts. Since that is possible, your assertion is invalid.
I can list many players that were "that good " but needed to redshirt because of depth and other similar reasons. If this is your main argument, I'd be more than happy to focus on this and not Myron.

Jay G Tate said on the rundown that Myron Burton might be back. It sounds more like a personal issue.

Interesting.

He could've left for any number of reasons. If he's still on good terms with the coaches, then it shouldn't be a problem for anyone else either.
