yes he did. Sean doesn't have the arm strength to stretch the field at all. Slightly sneaky speed, but fragile as they come. Love his heart, but JS will blow him out of the water

No, let's not look at a passing tree.

Passing tree? what does that mean?

I agree, until we see JS, we don't know his weaknesses. But we do know based on film, he can sling, and throw it deep easily.

With SW, he did have weaknesses. 2 important ones. Not staying healthy and not able to complete deeper passes with accuracy or distance. I love SW and his moxie, and his ability to look for receivers...but...

...We need a QB that can maintain it in the pocket, go deep on occasion, and scramble when needed.

well this is also true, but SW just doesn't have the arm strength. It was very apparent when he would try to put his whole body into the throw, throwing himself on the ground, and throwing a lame duck 15 yards underneath the target. And don't get me started on him falling needlessly on nearly every pass......

He limited Auburn on the long vertical passes. His longest pass in like two years is 49 yards I believe. That's unheard of unless you just simply can't throw it deep.

This might be true, but the film I have seen suggest JS has significantly greater arm strength. A healthy SW couldn't threaten the field vertically. To get it down there he needed to fall down and most of the time he was inaccurate due to the poor mechanics he used to compensate for lack of arm strength. SW was an under rated runner when healthy though, I don't expect JS to be significantly more effective as a runner than SW healthy.

Edit: Didn't realize this had already been pointed out on page 2.

His height is his Achilles Heel. He has issues throwing over our tall OL. It affects his trajectory IMO, and his vision.
