The man is talented. Per their board(s), he will coach them (all). He really hates AU and Gus. Praise be.

After his antics on the sidelines no-one would want him...

Plus you forgot Bama DC when Kirby leaves.

Wrong. The leghummpers think Kirby steals him.

If Champ bails, I'm done for a while.

will give me serious concern about where our program is....as far as on the inside of it.

Kirby is hired by UGA mid January. Champ bails same day, Auburn promotes Rodney "Gardner" Garner to DC.

I still don't think he leaves, but IF he does it sure as hell isn't for another coordinator position.

Maybe so. I'm just currently hanging my hat on the fact that he's improving the shitshow that we've seen for the better part of a decade. If he bails before building a solid defense, it's just going to suck again.

People forget that the offensive decline at UF started in 2010 under Meyer. UF was ranked ~#80 in yards per game on offense.

Looking at Urban Meyer's recruiting and I think Muschamp got an extremely raw deal at UF. There seems to be a perception that Meyer handed off a ton of offensive talent.

2009 & 2010 Recruiting classes for Florida

4*+- 11
3*+- 4

Compare that to say 2011&2012 AU classes Gus inherited

4*+ : 15
3* : 5

I should add that Muschamp deserves blame for the offensive woes, but UF fans pretend that he caused them when in reality he just wasn't able to fix what Urban Meyer started

Word on the street is that Lashlee could be in the mix at Louisiana-Monroe and at Tulane. He also could attract some attention for open coordinator jobs. As the dominos start to fall in the days ahead, there will be a lot of jobs out there.

He may leave if he gets the USC HC offer. Otherwise he stays.
