Yeah this brief week of posi will come crashing down.

I had a good feeling that LSU was going to sex us. I don't have that feeling about MSU, now that we've made the change at QB. I hope I'm right about White.

I am with GenesChin. I have a feels that AU comes out and plays a damn good game top to bottom. Gus made the change and we know he really didn't want to, and Boom looks to be making changes as well. We are at home, still 2-1, and I just think AU comes out determined to win and does so. If the team comes out flat and just doesn't give a frick, that is the season. If they come out and get after it, then who knows. As others have said, the next few weeks set up reasonably well for us, so there is time for either Snowboard and / or JJ to get shite straight. I felt LSU would push our shite in and they did. This week I feel we grind the fightin merlins and let folks know we still have a say in how everything plays out. WDE.

Mullins sees this as an opportunity to pounce on a weak AU team. He beats us they may keep him around another year. 41-27 boo birds are loud and Prescott has 150 rushing on qb draws

Clearly you didn't pick up what I was putting down. Sean White's yards per attempt would be in my scenario 6-6.5 YPA. That would be ranked ~100 for the past 3 years. That is awful

Our offense will be super conservative, we may have one or two big plays but likely dink and dunk our way to about 24 points

Our defense will show better effort, we will show promise but will have some major lapses that leads to points. We won't be 12 YPC bad like the LSU game, but we by no means will look SEC average

I would expect something along the lines of MSU 38- AU 24 give or take 3-7 points either direction

Realistically though, we win 41-17

In this game, I do not think we need explosive plays. After watching the replay of the Miss State game, a good running game coupled with some good qb scrambles and no poor judgement calls and we can drive the field.

We actually need long drives to keep Dak off the field. I am not sold on Miss State defense at all. Also, they had kicking issues and the game is at night which should help.

We shall see, but I think we win. I do not think White will wow anyone, but as long as he does not hurt us every snap we should, at the least, be competitive.

I hope White will provide a steady offensive performance without the turnovers we had in the first game and at LSU. I also think we'll get a spark out of the defense if our offense gets going. The fans will definitely be in it since the change at QB and it's a night game at JHS. I think because of this we have a chance to win.

We will need some big plays, turnovers and serious effort to have a shot. We are in a dark place.

We still win 41-17

I'm surprised a lot of people feel we are going to win easily. Miss State was a missed FG away from beating LSU who absolutely crushed us. I think we keep it close but Dak single handedly beats us. Hope I'm wrong.

I give us a chance against MSU, KY, and Ark. We have to win 2 of 3 to make a bowl.

We will beat SJSU and Idaho.

I see no plausible scenario where we beat any of Bama, UGA, Ole Miss or A&M.

I do not think anyone thinks we win easily. I think we win if we get a few breaks.

Improved and improving QB play could very well put us in a couple of close games with those 4. With competent QB play and a solid run game we are competitive, likely in the manner we were last season (competitive but still subject to beatdowns).

It would be great if we could get steady improvement in time to challenge UGA or Alabama, which isn't impossible, IMO, and I'm not a posibarner by any stretch. But even in that case, we could still drop 2 games to teams we should beat. Such is the nature of these years.

Auburn hasn't been able to stop him yet and won't in this game.

Dak Prescott is too good and the defense can't stop a dual threat quarterback to save their lives.

I just disagree with you. I watched the qb from Northwestern State scramble for some very easy yards in the first half. He is not what I would consider a speedster either.

As far as judgement, I am sure he will make some mistakes, but I am referring to specific game killers like passes straight to the defenders. I think our game plan will rely heavily on running and minimize this.

Explosive plays may actually not be as beneficial as you think. We need the offense on the field for long periods of time. If we limit the time Dak has on the field it works to the teams advantage.

Improved and improving QB play

Certainly the most important position in our offense. SW must be a threat to throw and Snowboard Cam must be able to use his legs enough to find some first downs and avoid sacks.

The defense is basically Monty adams and the cast of thousands. Frost makes Jake Holland look good.

Play Garrett and Williams, Holland and the kid from Troy.

I'm thinking if we finally get average qb play we should win. Yes D is struggling but fournette ain't gonna be there Saturday. If the offense can sustain drives and stop putting the D in terrible situations then I think they can get enough stops to win...yall it's freaking mississippi state!!

This isn't the same State coached by Croom. These guys kicked our arse last year. There's not a single pushover in the West like there used to be

Transitive property. Also, that was LSU's first game since they didn't get their tune-up game. It was also a home game for State. Don't underestimate the cowbells.
