What are your thoughts?

I am watching them on the SECN atm, before this I only saw the LSU/Miss game.

My quick thoughts.

Dak is going to score on us pretty often. It is pretty impressive how he is holding up with such a new Oline.

I firmly believe we can run on this team a lot. They seem to be really slow if you get to the edge.

I think this may very well be a shootout type of game, but I like the home advantage and our kicking game.

How do others see this game playing out?

I believe our young D players make huge highlight type mistakes but our overall game effort improves and we see a better D if tha tmakes sense.

I believe our OL improves and Sean White shows a TAMU Kyle Allen type game. 25/38 235 yds 2TD 1INT (65%, 6.1YPA)

Our run game improves due to continuity on OL + opening up the passing game

Roc Thomas 15 carries 70 yards
Peyton Barbar 10 carries 55 yards
J Robinson 7 carries 30 yards
K Johnson 5 carries 40 yards 5 catches 50 yards

Rico Louis - 5 catches 75 yards 1TD 3-5 carries 25 yards
Duke - 8-10 catches 80 yards 1 TD
Melvin Ray 3-5 catches 25 yards
Truitt/Davis/Cox 3-5 catches 20 yards

Wow, sideline reporter just said Mullins told Diaz, I hired you to coach the defense so do it.

I am surprised she repeated that comment.

Worried, hopeful, not sure what to expect!!! Too many unknowns, but my gut says this is when Auburn wins. Our history shows it.

As for Dak: Depends on how the defense responds form the LSU game. Really have no idea. Maybe the chess pieces moving a bit will help, maybe it won't.

As for the offense: WRs are going to have to get open fast and Sean White is going to have to make some quick decisions. By all accounts, it seems that he usually just lets it rip, so that's good. Once we get the RBs going, we'll need to get White involved in the read option.

Yea if the defense comes out with intensity and pride to stop Dak, maybe we can limit him. But I have yet to see them slow down a top running QB.

For reasons that are almost completely without justification, my spirit actually came back to life with the announcement that Sean White would play QB.

Hopefully the same happened with 85 18-22 year olds (except for Melvin Ray).

AU wins an intense game, 31-27

Same here. My reason is that we don't need a superstar at QB to be successful on offense. We need someone who can make good throws and run the read option properly. I think Sean White can easily do that. Further, he seems to be confident enough not to get rattled.

We're going to lose but it won't look as bad and we'll come back here and get our hopes up in a few days.

Diaz will be the wild card. He has always had his defense ready for Gus. They always play a Gus O well.

That there is a 50/50 shot that we are going to get the shite kicked out of us AGAIN. Our only hope seems to be in that of a RS FR QB that we really don't know much about. That is a lot of pressure on that kid. I hope we are all able to control our emotions towards him and don't make it worse for him.

We lose. Possibly by a good bit.

But our FG kicker continues to be a panty dropper ... And we get a least a couple FG's to avoid the shut out.

I thought the stands would be empty by the fourth quarter against Jacksonville State.

Hope the stands are not empty this weekend.

I would like to to be optimistic but the kicking game is the only bright sport.

3-2 Auburn victory.

No idea. Could see their D lineman having a big game and Sean shitting all over himself. Dak will get his, but who knows.
