For the few that never saw the thread, Paul Fbaum also was fanning the flames of the thread along with many Bama boosters. Here Finebaum hosted and still host BlueTunaTiger's write-up of As the Plains Burns. This became part of that infamous thread. This was at one time given a lot of credibility by Fbaum.

I got banned for the first time because of ATPB.
Then apparently half of the posters in that thread were the ones who asked for my reinstatement.
So I posted in the thread thanking them and immediately got a PM telling me to not post in there again or go back to banland

This site and the Florida fans will never hear the end of this game getting cancelled. Its actually kinda ironic that the heat is coming from fans of a state that is the poster child for "Save us we are dying".
I believe Florida did the correct thing considering the circumstances. They should however, play the game later...

Florida handled this like scared bitches, but the league office let them get away with it. It was obvious late Thursday/ early Friday that Gainesville would be getting very little of this storm. No reason this game couldn't have been played at some point this weekend.

While UF likely could have done a better job looking for an alternative earlier in the week, it is ridiculous to say they knew the weather wouldn't be an issue Thursday. The storm took a jog right, if it went that far left the eye wall could've gone just east of Gainesville and caused devastation. The state was under emergency and there are more important things than a football game diverting resources needed elsewhere. These things are unpredictable, you don't play around with Cat 3-4 hurricanes people.
