Thank you - you're the best.
It cuts my melt in half to see guys in the other thread wanting to fight each other IRL.

We lost one to pron bomb on the SECRant tonight. He won't be missed and the puss only linked the photo. Was a weak melt.

And why do I always miss the good stuff

lol I didn't know that. Who was it? If I ever go out on a pron bomb it will be a collection of both awesome and hideous pics that will provide excitement and disgust in the same post.

Ehhh, our guys fricked themselves every way possible. I was pissed watching them do it during the game, but our guys didn't deserve to win that game with the way they played. I hate it, but no melting on my end.
Yep.

Biggest issue with this team is an inability to push the line of scrimmage forward. I know some think JJ is going to sit back there and go all Peyton Manning on everybody, but my guess is this same line would have pass protection issues.
Yep.

Damn, sometimes not being younger is an advantage, I guess.

The turnovers evened out. We lost because we couldn't get touchdowns and had to settle for field goals. Also failed to score on two critical drives when we were. 8 points down. The defense had made stops and On those two drives NM couldn't hit receivers. He was 0 for 6 passing snd then MSU scored to go up by 15 again. Those were the critical drives of the game IMO.

The excuses are officiating and rain. Both hurt us badly. We got royally fricked by Ritter and company. They were directly responsible for 14 points in MSUs favor, zero doubt about that at all. The calls did not even out and they were worth 14 points, end of story.
The rain cost us a Td on the double move and Nick had several balls come out of his hand poorly from a wet ball.
Those are the excuses. Where we lost the game and MSU won the game was the red zone. They were spectacular, piling up tds, especially the 21-0 lead. We turn around with 4 shots in the red zone and only got 13 out of 4 first and goals. The game was won by MSU and lost by us in those first half trips into the red zone for both teams.

What makes you think we are truly better than this? We've played two games against good teams and scored 20 and 23.

I think we have potential to be better. We have herpa derped in the red zone.
We need to look at RB and passing changes there. Otherwise we have been fine

Fellas the refs are part of the game. Let's not hang the loss on them. Refs miss calls, players miss blocks and tackles etc. two things stood out to me.
1.) Field position. Our turnovers gave them very short fields. Theirs were in their territory. Field position matters and outside of the 99 yard drive we didn't overcome it.
2.). Their players made plays and ours didn't. I think home field had something to do with it, but we also have a lot of new players this year. It showed.
Tough loss but as was said earlier we did nothing that deserved a win today. The good news is we played like arse and still had an opportunity. Gus will fix the problems and I believe we will see State again. Just gotta stay focused.

Same here bro I haven't melted since the LSU game in 2008 because we either haven't lost or the expectations have been so low but we let a HUGE opportunity slip through our fingers today.
We played on the road at the #3 team in the country, they played like crap, we had every possible call and bounce go against us, and we still had multiple chances to win the game and pissed away nearly every one.
I mean I think we were in the redzone 7 f'ing times not even counting the ridiculous penalty on Coates that should of had us 1st down at the 5. 7 times and we scored two touchdowns. :banghead: :banghead:
This team should be good enough to challenge for a national title but they just likely threw it away or best case scenario totally eliminated any further margin for error in a schedule full of potential losses.
