I don't think our pass protection has been awful when QB steps into the pocket

He took him off after he muffed a terrible kick putting us in bad field position. You are playing revisionist. Pulling Roc off kickoffs didn't cause Louis to fumble.

No but Ricardo has had a number of issues of his own receiving Kickoffs

He received the kickoff fine. In reality, Roc probably would have fumbled on the same play. He had one run earlier where he nearly fumbled trying to "fight" for non-existent yards.

Ehhh, our guys fricked themselves every way possible. I was pissed watching them do it during the game, but our guys didn't deserve to win that game with the way they played. I hate it, but no melting on my end.

I only listened today, but that's what it sounded like to me. Turnovers and ill-timed penalties (some undeserved) killed us today.

We play this game on a neutral field and we win 19 times out of 20.

They get to unfairly amplify their noise and rattle us. It's never mattered before, but it did today. Tough.

but my guess is this same line would have pass protection issues.

Pass protection really hasn't been an issue. The interior of our OL can't open holes in the running game.

The PP hasn't been great but you're correct in that the run blocking has been atrocious. There aren't any RBs that are going to run wild behind this line

4/5 OL do a reasonable job blocking on passing plays.

Chase Slade has issues so bad it makes the rest of the line bad

You mean you're not just supposed to run into the clump of players in the middle for one yard?

MSU was destroying us on the edge on runs to the sideline. They were eating us up inside. Where do you propose the RB runs the ball? Maybe he's supposed to levitate over everyone?

And by the way, there absolutely was one play where Roc tried to bounce it outside and he took a loss. So please don't pretend that with him in the game he's just going to turn all those non-existent up the middle runs into 10 yard gains.

CAP looks to read the OL and find the hole. Problem is our OL isnt doing a great job at making big hole .

ROC is looking more comfortable squeezing and spinning in traffic when the holes are tight.

On the outside we got owne . Mostly because their DBs tackle well and our WRs block worse than the OL

yup

I've said that our lack of middle running is caused by our perimeter running being shite by not spreading the defense out. Letting one or two players stop the outside runs let's the rest of the defense key in on the backfield.
