For you AU board fans who I respect, I will melt with you. I have done all I can to defend Gus. I still remain that this is a good team and has tons of potential but I just have no idea what he is doing on offense right now.

I feel your pain man. Gus has built a solid program but he gets so damn scared in these big games he blows it. Not sure he will ever make that next step and that's so damn disappointing

Thanks. First thing is admitting there IS a problem. I haven’t been trying to be a “bitch” to anyone here. We’re ALL in the same boat and want only the absolute best for OUR Auburn Tigers.

I have said after our wins that the lack of an intermediate passing game worried me and it came back to bite us today and will again when we play a good defense. It doesn’t help that our HC decides to “play not to lose” then does exactly that. My frustration comes from the fact that there is talent on this team and it’s not being utilized because our coach has turned into Coach Klein from the Waterboy.

yea, he has lost me for now. I have been drinking a little too much to make a good decision but he hurt me tonight.
Its really hard to comprehend what he was trying to do tonight. He literally played not to lose.
I still have the opinion that this offense is not the offense for him. He can't not run this style of offense. But as talented as we are, he has to work to mess it up .

You'd think a coach at this level could evolve/adapt. The guy has what most aspiring coaches consider to be the dream job -head coach at a power5, predominantly football school in the SEC. Makes an obscene amount of money and is clearly in over his head.

But seriously, team is the heart of the matter, it's like he's crushed everyone by saying we're not good enough to keep it up. We can't continue to win out right. So I'm going to step in a take care of everything, y'all don't worry I got it, I'm the man. Instead of letting them embarrass the other guys... could of done it tonight and Clemson last year to mention two that'll suck long after he's gone.
