1. Prine Tega (gone)

2. Bailey Sharp

3. Marquell Harrell

4. Tawshawn Manning

5. Kaleb Kim

6. Nick Brahms

7. Mike Horton

8. Calvin Ashley (maybe leaving)

9. Jack Driscoll

10. Austin Troxell

11. Keondre Jones

12. Jalil Irvin

13. Brodarius Hamm

14. Kameron Stutts

15. Prince Sammons

16. Justin Osborne

So I guess our starting lineup next year might be

LT: Jack Driscoll
LG: Marquell Harrell
C: Brahms
RG: Mike Horton
RT: Calvin Ashley?

This is pretty rough.

Not sure Brahms starts over Kim after what I saw this year. Also guessing Troxell over Ashley at this point if Tega is actually gone

Brahms will be a much better player once he's back to 100%. He had a lot of strength to get back and the off-season will do him wonders imo.

Looks like a solid group for a first year starting QB to play behind.

Brahms snapped his leg in late March, scooted around campus until August, and still beat out Kim This off season will get Brahms back to where he needs to be. Kim is an adequate back-up

That's fair. I hope he takes the job as his upside is much higher than Kim's

I know OL is a major weakness, but am I the only one who thinks the o line improved throughout the course of the year?

That group will be just fine as long as RYAN RUSSELL and J.B. GRIMES do their part.

No, I thought they looked better during the UGA & Bama games than earlier in the year against weaker competition.

Agree with what was said about Brahms too. A full year of practice and conditioning will help.

The line played better. I think Driscol and Tega were improved toward the end. Guards struggled to create gaps toward the end which was a common theme. Part of that was that Kim just being overpowered by nose guards all game.

Brahms coming back after a full off season of S&C should be a big boost. And guys like Trox and Ashley (if he comes back) are going to need to contribute. Ashley’s first real year of getting good reps was this season and it was at a new position. Easy to forget that he basically lost his first season due to being incredibly overweight and out of shape

some type of undisclosed health issue

PM and others are really secretive about it for some reason

Early on in his career I think he was just soft. Maybe he still is. You have guys like Piercschbacer that drive you in the dirt then mash your helmet in the ground getting up then you have guys on the other end of the spectrum.

Braden Smith was a mauler, apparently Brahms is (I haven't seen it)

We need more on that end and not on the soft end.

You can weight train all spring / summer but if you don't have any dog in you you're still going to be soft.

Who's evaluating these guys

OL played better down the stretch than they are given credit for....its not really saying much do to their terrible performance throughout most of the season.

Pass pro was good on the edges, but was porous between the tackles. If we can get improvement in the interior of the line, we will be fine.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is since Chip is gone do we stick with the zone blocking scheme or go back to man.
