Plus the dude doesn't really need to practice, IMO. Let him rest until tomorrow or Thursday and be as fresh as possible for Saturday.

I would let him rest as much as possible while he takes part in the meetings and plannings etc.

I agree in part about him practicing, but I worry about his conditioning if he is so inactive for 2 weeks.

Translation: even if he plays, he will be limited. Might as well hold him out for later in the season at this point. Maybe we can come back 100% by the 7-8 game and make a decent bowl.

I heard he got both legs amputated early this morning. Gus still says he's "day-to-day"

It should not be a shock to anyone. If you think a guy is going to go from being on crutches to playing DE against our most physical opponent in 7 days, you are a special kind of delusional.

He wont travel. Jeffery Holland should get some time

That's what happens when your coaching staff gets their asses handed to them in recruiting by thuga and uat.

*Ford said that freshman safety/nickel Tim Irvin is continuing to improve and will be a player the Tigers need. He said he expects safety Tray Matthews and the other injured defensive players to be ready to go vs. LSU.

I'm going with it.

Since we have more depth and talent at LB than DL, I wonder if we will swap to a true 3-4 now.

I'm not really worried about that quite yet. Why give LSU any unneeded info? Keep them guessing.

Because Lawson is insane. His ability to put pressure on the QB is unheard of. It's what allows our defense as a whole to be a good unit when he is in the game. We simply do not have another good rusher besides Adams. Without Lawson teams can double Adams with not having to worry about an edge rusher. Mathews is our best secondary player, and one of the best safeties in the SEC. Those two guys alone are what makes our defense work as a whole. Without them I literally think its a 14 point swing in the game and that's being generous..

Aufamily guy: "think Avery will be back. Holsey will need some images of that bad knee. My gut is that he will be ok too. I really expect everybody but Trey. The thing is that Carls injury will be like a hamstring, very sore and probably prone to reinjury."

Well, Malzahn announced today Holsey tore his ACL again and is out for the season. So looks like Aufamily guy needs to STFU.

someone said earlier in this thread that he was supposedly a trainer on the team. Looks like that's been debunked.

To be fair, ACLs can be partially torn, and that's what he could have been talking about.
