Ok all you (us, me) AU fanatics, with the current state of the football program looking like a dumpster fire on both sides of the football, what are the top knee jerk reaction wishes (by us fans), short & long term, and what are new expectations for the season.
Yes that's one damn long run-on sentence. & my first knee jerk reaction would be to put Jason smith at QB and run the wildcat. Or for shits and giggles if by the end of the year AU still looks like hot garbage let J. Wallace take on UGA & Bama.
Also, is it possible to return that new jumbotron and use that cash to buy a new cam newton ?

Sean white gets his shot this weekend against Miss St. If he cant do it, then you take the off week to prepare Jason Smith.

I honestly don't have any knee jerk reactions. I do think it is crazy for us to keep trying the same thing on offense that isn't working over and over again. We need to change something up until we find what works.

Let JJ play the first half or until the deficit gets seemingly too great to come back. then when there is no pressure, play White and let him start getting meaningful reps against real competition. maybe he will be ready for next year.

Gus too stubborn. Jj scored against LSU, progress. JJ plays whole game.

Force JJ to run early and often. Let him get hit. Some QBs need that. We have protected him for three years. If he gets hurt, we go with white. Nothing to lose really

I don't know if it's stubbornness versus having his most critical player being switched. At this point he has to realize that Johnson isn't getting it done with his arm or legs though.

White took all the snaps with the ones at practice yesterday. Does not mean he starts, but I would have to try him at this point.

Thanks for the info. And agree, I'm not getting my hopes up but heck, even if white gets out there and blows it up, maybe this gives JJ a change to get his head together.
