Yea that was the thing, he used to post just about as much as anybody and was pretty well respected on here. Usually gave great input and reasonable opinions. The. The wheels went off. It was glorious to behold.

Blakely

Forgot about that dude. Just another swing and miss in the RB carousel the past few years.

Yep, we've really had a lot of those considering we've had a 1000+ yard rusher every season since 2009.

True, we've had at least one 1000+ yard rusher every season since 2009. But, the quality depth has not been there except 2013 with CAP backing up Mason.

A few notes. I left in QBs since that's an obvious factor in "depth" when assessing the run game when you have a QB who can run. I think you also have to consider offense as a whole and other factors, i.e. when you don't have a throwing threat teams can sell out on the run, etc.

Unless you're talking about 3-deep every year, I think we've had solid depth. Plus, if you have someone with the hot hand that 3rd back isn't going to get many carries.

When I read your title, I instantly thought about the word fumbling.

As long as Tim Horton is employed as the AU RB coach, I will NOT sweat that part of our game.

Until you show me successive seasons with a lack of production, GET BENT!

I've been watching the offensive snaps during the 2009 season. Fannin was kind of a beast. So was Eric Smith. They both had good hands. Chris Todd actually looked like a baller occasionally.

LOL I do not think that of any of our running backs.

That is just word association whenever I hear Fannin!

Hate to break it to you, but I pretty much never use the upvote/downvote feature. You earn those down votes all by yourself. I'd hate to take credit for your horrible posting
