At some point we should just sticky a thread titled, "WTF Jay Jacobs?"

Rising prices will not stop Auburn fans from coming to football games. Fact of life. We will get our upgrades eventually, just not on our time schedule

If it's fully funded by ticket sales, frick me running. Aren't our ticket prices the highest ( or one of the highest) in the SEC already? Jacobs always looking out for the fans .. Right. Stickin it to the fans is more like it.

I agree, we shouldn't take the time to plan it rationally.

We should rush right into construction from the first proposed design!

You're trying to tell me that $11 is going to keep people from coming to Auburn games or bringing their kids to Auburn games? Please...

Current prices of our tickets has no effect on the attendance numbers.

At some point, the sports bubble in America will burst. I do not think EXPANDING
JHS would be prudent.

I just tailgate because I refuse to buy tickets at current prices. Such a waste of money.

I won't bring my future kids to any game a ticket is more than $25 because it is a waste of money

ETA: It isn't the cost but the principle. I would much rather spend a week at the beach with my family than $300+ /game for a family of 4-5

What you want has very little to do with where Auburn should set the price.

We're selling out games at our current prices. When we don't sell out, it's because we're playing a cupcake.

I decided not to renew my scholarship seats this year due to the increase in cost and the lack of amenities for the cost. This past Saturday, two months later, the ticket manager called me to see what he could do to get me to renew. I told him that $3000 a seat was too much considering that I had to pay extra on top of that just to get a crappy stadium seat, not to mention the shitty food they serve and no where to eat it. I also mentioned that our rival across the state had far better amenities for less money. He didn't disagree. He said that they were doing a stadium renovation and that I would be very happy with the results. Mentioned closing in the North endzone. I said that I thought that was just a proposal and that it hadn't been approved yet. He said it was pretty much a done deal and that he would call me back on Tuesday to see if I had changed my mind. I never received that call.

They outsource all or part of ticket sales to some random company. Customer service is very lacking. We had a bad experience last year with our tickets too.

You are missing the point. We are selling out now because a lot of older people have premium seats/season tickets, always had those seats and will always renew those. That generation is getting older

It is the same reason they did the "young alumni" tickets. The younger alumni are not buying season tickets which has huge long term affects

I, for one, am done after this coming fall. They have drained me dry between tickets and now 4 years of out of state tuition. I'm just tired of the hassle and then being forced to pay for it. My daughter graduates next May and i will enjoy 2016 on my big screen at home. It is just to much.
