Just got a survey from the AD asking questions "as we study the feasibility of adding new premium seating to Jordan-Hare Stadium as one component of a wider-scale renovation."

Areas covered were
quote:

Preferred parking: Reserved parking closer to the Stadium and your seat location will save you time and steps.

Inclusive food and beverages: Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price of your seat and available before, during and after the game.

Enhanced and expanded food and beverage selections available for purchase: Specialty food and beverage items provide great variety and some of your favorites not found elsewhere in the stadium.

In-seat food and beverage service: Order and receive food and non-alcoholic beverages from your seat; no standing in line or missing any action on the field.

Full cash-bar service: Your dedicated lounge area includes a full-service bar, offering your favorite spirits, specialty drinks, beer and wine for purchase.

Private locker space and use of personal alcohol supply: You have access to a secure and convenient locker for your personal items and favorite alcoholic beverages that may be enjoyed before, during and after the game. Your items will remain stored and secure between games.

Access to climate-controlled lounge and social area: Relax and join other Auburn fans in a well-appointed, climate-controlled lounge with comfortable seating, food and beverage options and a convenient way to take a break from the elements.

Open-air seating with protection from direct sun and rain: Enjoy all of the sights and sounds of Jordan-Hare Stadium while underneath a canopy or overhang that helps minimize any uncomfortable elements on game day.

Wider, padded seats with chair backs: Enhance your comfort with an upgraded padded seat and seatback with armrests that are wider than existing stadium seating.

Pre-game field access: Experience the electricity and unrivaled views as you and your guests take in the pre-game warm ups and festivities from a dedicated viewing area on the sidelines of Pat Dye Field.

Exclusive and/or dedicated entrance: A convenient entrance reserved only for patrons in certain seating sections is designed to save time and steps as you make your way to and from the Stadium.

Shuttle service: Dedicated transportation from your reserved parking area to your designated entrance to the Stadium before and after each game helps make your experience more convenient.

Special events and access to coaches, alumni and players: You’ll interact with current and former Auburn coaches, players and alumni friends through year-round programs and events designed to provide experiences far above those enjoyed by general fans.

Dedicated contact within Tigers Unlimited/Athletics Department: Your designated representative is available to answer questions and help with special requests and everyday concerns.

Multiple TVs in lounge space: Large HD-TV screens allow you to follow all the action on the field if you step away from your seats as well as keep tabs on other games, events and updates from the sports world.

Access to multiple club lounge and social areas within the Stadium: You have the ability to visit associates and friends that may be seated in restricted-access areas as well as enjoy other private areas of the Stadium.

Ability to access stadium early and remain after the game's conclusion: Avoid the rush and expand your game day enjoyment by spending time before or after the game in your dedicated lounge space.

Interesting look into what the plan may be going forward. I am wondering how many of those potential in stadium upgrades (TV lounge, lockers, open air/covered seating) could be worked into the north upper level that was discussed here a couple of weeks ago. I am wondering if some of this would end up being renovations to the north, south and east club section.

I'd imagine this would be a new addition in the north end zone. Which would be really awesome

Yep, accept you won't be able to understand what is being said over the sound system.

I am thinking that will be a big part of it - I could see the lounge area up there maybe with big glass windows, somewhat like what the executive suites have, and then some open air, but covered, seating on the "roof" of it.

I am thinking though, that the personal lockers might end up being added in the existing club seating areas, otherwise people are not going to walk up to the north EZ to get a glass of Jack and then walk back to their seats. I also wonder if they would try to do some form of dedicated entrance on the west side for access to the elevator for north and south club seating.

imo sound system and better seating (not more) needs to be top priority.

They also need to expand the student section. They had the biggest freshman class ever this year and a bunch of them didn't even get tickets, its already massively oversold with people standing between rows and on the steps every single game.

kind of ridiculous imo.

This.

ETA: Not saying JHS needs more seats, but they definitely need to allocate more tickets for students.

So uh, how about those timeclock issues we've had this year? Squirrels eating through the wires?
