Or maybe Evans just wanted to go play Fuentes at VT?... not everything has to be a coaching frick up.

Well... in this case it was. Jerod wanted to go to Auburn very badly and was pissed when we offered JF3.

He was ours if we wanted him.

We could not make more than one TD per game against any defense that was decent.

We also had these problems in 2014 with a great running qb. If with two different types of qbs the offense had the same issue, then what does that tell you?

In what, one game, two games where we scored two touchdowns or less? That happened in bout 6 games this season..

yea, I didn't go back and look but I only remember one game in 2014, UGA, that we had issues scoring TD's. What other ones were they?

ETA. Here are the points we scored

Alabama - 44
LSU - 41
UGA - 7
Texas AM - 38
Ole Miss - 35
Miss St - 23
Arkansas - 45
Kansas St - 20

Sorry but this year was much worse than that.

Vandy 1 TD
UGA - 1 td
Bama - 0 TD
Texas AM - 1 TD
LSU - 0 TD
Clemson - 1 TD

Kansas St, Miss State, Uga, and Alabama.

This is not a new issue. I've been calling him FieldGoal Gus for a long time.

I agree with that. The passing game has always been Malzahn's weakness as a coach. I've seen bigger HS programs that have a more complex passing game than us. White doesn't have a weak arm per se, but he definitely doesn't have the cannon like Marshall that malzahn wants. A normal coach would adjust to his QB'S strengths, but Malzahn continues to show no desire to evolve. Keeping Lashlee to land Stidham leaves little hope for improvement. While Stidham fits more to what Malzahn wants to do, I still don't think we see much improvement in the passing game aside from more deep shots.
