Sounds like another QB that I'm a big fan of.

You said you want a dual threat though. Stidham hasn't proven he can be a real dual threat at this level. His ypc so far is half that of SW
I think Stidham is better and ends starting, just pointing out that it's dumb to say he should start because he's a dual threat and SW isn't when SW has been a better runner at this level

I never said he should start because he is a dual threat. I said it will be good seeing him and Woody battle it out for the job and that both of them are dual threats.
I am pretty much done with the Sean White project. If he runs for 500 yards in the bowl game, it won't matter. I made my mind up on him a long time ago. And I was pretty accurate.
Lets move on so we can play for championships

quote:Nope. Stayed healthy and will be highly motivated to prove he is an NFL talent next year.
So Stidham is basically sitting this year out completely? Does that concern us?
What should be concerning is that JF3 will still be in our Qb room instead of lining up at WR

quote:Not true. He could have taken less than full time credit and saved the year.

Why in the world should we be concerned that another non-WR WR-wannabe isn't taking away reps from the young talented kids who are WRs?

I really dont care about him or where we use him. Its not like he is going to move to WR and help us. Has that ever happened? We always say that but its not helpful.
Just missing a year of playing means he has not really competed and that is never a good thing.

If I have to watch another year of Auburn with White at QB and listen to some of the people here blow him for running up stats on shitty teams, I may kill myself.

Woody will be 3rd string. The battle will be between Stidham and White and it should be a good long one.
I noticed like you said, I want the best thing for Auburn. I would take a statue at QB if our offense moved the ball with him. Auburn had the best offense in the SEC when Sean White was healthy, so I'm really not sure why you're so against him.
It's almost like he didn't call your daughter back after he took her home from Skybar

There is no way in hell you actually believe that. And if you do, there is no need to carry on this conversation.

I didn't make the draft either but I am far from winning.
Two of the five games I won, I didn't even have all my players in the lineup. I forgot to change it.

After the Ole Miss game, the last game that Sean White started healthy, Auburn was averaging 507.6 yards per game. Good for #11 in FBS and #1 in the SEC.
In the last 3 games, in which Sean White hasn't taken a snap, Auburn has averaged 244 yards, which in that 3 week time span ranks 124 out of 128 FBS teams.
I'm sorry Lanier but those are FACTS backed up stats.
I'll give you this so you feel slightly vindicated, after the Ole Miss game Auburn was averaging 36.2 points per game which was only 2nd best in the SEC.

There's a great site that let's you look stats up by dates.
Seriously you seem to have some kind of personal vendetta against Sean White. It's kind of weird man. What exactly did he do to you?

I think we have been over this. No need to hash it over again. Shitty defenses and stuff

I have said it 100 times. I like Sean. He is a great kid and would be a very good Qb in another system with another coach. But with our coach and his limited coaching abilities, he is not our guy. Why is that so hard to understand?

It's stats like this that will probably keep Gus from hiring a real QB coach this off-season.
But if he didn't hire one last year, I seriously doubt he'll do it now.
For me, it's like watching a movie where you are screaming at the good guys to pick up a weapon before going inside the haunted house. It boggles my mind why Gus doesn't want to shore up a glaring weakness.

That's a weak argument. So why wasn't the rest of the SEC averaging 500 yards per game against teams not named Bama?
Before Sean White and Kamryn Pettway went down Auburn had the hottest offense in the SEC. We were rolling and nobody was stopping us. To say otherwise is revisionist history. Just hop on the Google and go read what people were saying about Auburn after week 9 (the Ole Miss game)
But hey, if you won't take it from me then maybe you'll take it from November 2nd Lanier: LINK
