I want to know what Gus or Rhett did to JJ to make him go backwards. It's the same thing that happened with KF.

You cannot regress when the talent was not there to begin with...

JJ had the talent. I think it's coddling them and making them weak mentally. KF idk.

Unfortunately, you're wrong wrong wrong.

JJ is talented as frick.

Unfortunately, he's been ruined by his coaches.

After going to the game yesterday there is one thing that stands out to me. I hope our QBs play under live contact & not this 1 hand touch shite. We don't have good enough play out of them to justify doing the orange jersey shite. JJs problem is he folds under pressure. Just my .02

I said the exact same thing yesterday at the game. If we had a returning starter that was a franchise quarterback then you can protect him, if you have 3 or 4 guys trying to win the job then you let them play and figure shite out. We literally have a guy who can't throw the ball for shite but is supposed to be a really fast runner but we are playing 1 hand touch with him.

Not sure I have ever witnessed a more boring/shitty ADay game in my life. I went a got a pretzel at one point and just stood up there for about 30 minutes. The highlight of my day was meeting and bullshitting with the Back 40 guys.

You must not have been around for the 2010 A Day with Cam Newton and Barrett Trotter.

there are two AU players that when you see them on the sidelines that really stood out as being a "who`s that guy, he`s gotta be good" one is Cam Newton the other is JJ, dude looks like an NFL QB, and up until he got the starting job played like he would be one, albeit in limited action, now everything about him is screwed up his mechanics are awful, the only time you see his potential is on the deep ball, where he doesn`t have to think just let her fly.

Franklin got more reps than JJ. I think Malzahn already knows what he's going to get with him at QB.

I agree totally. The thing that kills me if you look at the team standing on the sidelines your eyes are drawn to this big 6' 5" kid that looks like Gronk on the team. Then you see this 6' 5" kid on the field and quickly realize he is absolutely scared to take a hit when he could easily be dealing out the punishment. Physically, he looks the part. Mentally, meh.

Oh, and he can throw a backwards non-wind-aided pass with the best of them.
