So will SW be able to play in a bowl game if he just had surgery?

It would be perfectly Auburn for Jeremy Johnson to come in and lead AU to an Iron Bowl win.

Rhett Lashlee not likely in it for the Georgia State job because it would be a paycut for him

Honestly, I'm fine if Rhett stays if he has been the one calling the offense since Gus relinquished control. He's proven with a healthy offense, he's capable.

I don't put anything from the UGA game on him. We were so fricking beat up I'm not sure if Petrino could have made a difference.

I don't mind the play calling but we definitely are not great at mid game adjustments.

The bigger issue is QB scouting and development. They've had 4 recruiting classes and only 1 serviceable QB

Recruiting
-Lashlee scouted and offered JF3
-Tyler Queen only QB taken despite injury
-Recruit a passer in Sean White, doesn't allow offense to mold to his passing

Development

-Sean White footwork still looks awful /he falls due to throwing

-Jeremy. Nuff said

-JF3 in 11 months can't even be trusted throwing >5 times in a half vs Vanderbilt

-Woody Barrett is an unknown but a crippled SW > Barrett at this point is scary

Not saying we could have won, but they frequently had open middle of the field when MLBs blitzed.

We never once tried running slants, drag routes, chandler cox release in the middle for a simple 5-10yard pass

It'll be done. It'll all be over, and we'll have Jeremy Johnson to thank.

That would be the most Auburn thing ever.

That right there frustrates me so fricking much about this offense.

Taking his 20 practice reps/day on his perpetually injured throwing shoulder

Those plays typically don't make a ton of sense in our properly run offense, if they stack the box then you're throwing it in the middle of all their defenders.

For some reason though, for some reason though we decide not to keep it in the back pocket when we get looks that could exploit it

doesn't allow offense to mold to his passing
so when white was leading the sec in completion %, ypa, & rating (before saturday), we weren't running an offense molded to his passing?

kj released in the middle in the 1st
stevens ran a drag route on the pick 6 and was wide open
stevens ran a slant over the middle on the incompletion to stove in the 3rd
cox released to the middle at the beginning of the 4th on 2nd down
marcus davis ran a drag on 1st down of the last series and was open
