Undersized speck. They were slapping the crap out of the topwater, would never get the hooks. Mirrodine was the ticket.

did the doc come in and say "nice catch, it'll go about a foot"? I have some pics around here somewhere of getting both hooks from a rattle trap buried in my back. I have laid a couple into others a few times as well. even knocked a guy unconscious with a buzz bait once. hope you heal well.

Had a cousin get a rooster tail buried above his eye at the hands of my brother while casting. It was the early 90s at the height of the grunge era. Thing was buried so deep we thought about just leaving it in and seeing if anybody would notice. Gnarly looking eye wear for sure.

No, but he came in with a tackle box that said fish hook tools. Had a variety of Harbor Freight pliers and cutters.

No way those damn things were sanitary lol.

Congrats. That took talent.

I have a fishing guide in North Florida I use who wont allow treble hooks in his boat for just this reason.

I usually don't use them in the kayak at night, but I could only stand seeing fish and not catching them for so long.

How was the ER visit? Typically dig those out myself but looks a lil close to your tendon bud!
