This isn't champs fault. He wasn't great but his D lived on the field without 2 of our 3 best players.

We have very little talent at the CB position.
The lack of O kept them on the field all game long. Gus is going to win/lose games on O. It looks like we may lose a lot of games this year.

I agree.
They sure as hell didn't play WELL. But compared to the offense, they are winning the crown in the beauty pageant.

Yep. You do realize defenses get tired when the offense continuously hands it back to the other team. I'm not saying the D was great or even good, but this crap show is mostly on the O.

They gave up 5 hundred fricking yards to Jacksonville St... They shouldn't be able to compete with our 2nd and 3rd defense.... 5 hundred fricking yards... I don't give a damn if our offense goes 3 and out every funking series, our motherfricking defense gave up five hundred fricking yards... It's his fricking fault also... I mean frick, come the frick on..

That D played well all things considered. The O left them out to dry so much, they were winded and wounded at the end of that game and managed to keep it together. This isn't Muschamp, this is on Gus.

I agree although I have to admit. Jackson state has some damn good talent. There were many "holy shite" plays

Dbs playing 15 yds off the WR and our shite getting pushed in on the line is on boom... Don't get me wrong he inherited a shite show, but we still look like pure dog shite.

I didn't like the DB's playing so far off either but they were hitting everything deep so we ended up having to.

I think we have some talent, they are just true freshmen. Need playing time to develop.
We have 2 seniors (one of which is a transfer) and a bunch of young guys. Where are the soph and juniors?

The D being on the field so much is mostly the defense's fault. If you're playing Jacksonville State and they continually drive down the field methodically, you can't really blame the offense. Not that the offense shouldn't have put up 50.

Who cares how many yards are given up? Scoring D is only thing that matters at the end of the day.
If AU scores what we should have, no one is even batting an eye at 2 TDs and 2 field goals by an FCS team
