Some absolute gold in that thread.
Admittedly, I wanted Lane Kiffin, but Hugh Freeze will be a much better fit for a much longer period of time. Hugh Freeze is a better recruiter, better personality and won’t leave for any other team.

I somehow managed to not comment in that thread, so I'd just like it to be known that the 2020 version of me agreed with FTT and stood by his side (silently). I'm glad we could both be right about Freeze

So Jang thinks even with talent he will lose based on his record vs Gus. He can’t coach even with talent. Got it.

Agree the big 3 have coaches that want to be here and know how to win. We also have an AD that is willing to give them what they need to win.

That was all said last coaching search as well.. you didn’t listen when I said Harsin sucked and nix wasn’t the problem so dont pretend to be listening after he nabs some croots and 0/0 at Auburn

I guess I’d like to see some wins first before we go all in on crow-eatin’ threads? Unless people in those threads were saying he wouldn’t recruit well I guess?

It certainly seemed like a desperation hire. He is doing well on the recruiting trail so far. No one can deny that. Love the fact that he is not scared to go after guys.
