Was Hastings in the game much? I don't even think he was targeted.

I think Neal had a couple of tackles. Overall, how did he look?

Mathews had a couple of tackles on LF7. Overall the defense redeemed itself from last year.

Lawson had the big sack at the end. Did he have another or am I misremembering. I think we had 4 total? I saw some bad holding from LSU, but can't remember the AU players.

Neal was not great.

Hastings was invisible.

Matthews ok.

Lawson was good

Lawson had 2 sacks. Hastings was in a bit. TJ Neal was in and looked good in the box but horrible in pass protection.

They had hastings covered like a cheap suit in the rain. LSU had that kid scouted out. Sean likes to throw to him.

I thought Neal looked real slow out there. And took bad angles

Neal and Matthews took terrible angles all night. I agree Neal looked slow. Classic Big 10 linebacker.

Hastings was in the game. There was a play, 2nd quarter I think, White rolled out and was going to his side when he got sacked. I was in the car on the way home but it sounded like it might of been going his way but the play didn't work.

Hopefully Gus and crew are starting to figure out that Hasting is terrible and should not be playing.

And hopefully they can do some self scouting to see how they telegraph plays by sending in certain players

Really? What had he done to earn more playing time?

Run good routes, getting open, CATCHING the ball. But yeah what do any of the above have to do with being a good WR

Why don't you add Chandler Cox to your list

Chandler Cox is not doing a very good job at all. I would say a number of our negative plays is due to him missing his block.

I watched the game last night after returning from a football game for my son, and I didn't key on him the entire game, but when I did he did a terrible job.

That position is critical to being successful for this offense. I get that there might be a couple of miscues, but Cox appears to consistently miss a block or only gives a chip shot instead of blowing up the LB, DE, or DB that comes through the gap he is assigned to pick up.

We will pick up more yards and possibly TD's if Chandler improves or we can find someone who can do it.

By the way, I thought Mathews actually did pretty decent last night overall.

TJ Neal did ok, but his speed was not impressive at all. He looks like a bigger and slower Kris Frost. Yayyyyy

Wow Braningan bein himself. I really think he's the dumbest poster we have. Must have never played football Bc he don't got a clue. Hastings is usually money in the slot and runs crisp routes. Plus destroyed half the workout records in preseason. But Bran is the second coming on armchair Lombardi. I just wish brannigan never posted again. All he is is negative nancy

Matthews tackling Fournette on the swing pass on the last drive was key. He played well in run support too.

If the last play had counted we'd be all over Boston today.

Hastings came in on the play at the end of the first half when we went for the TD instead of the FG. It was obvious the play was designed for him and LSU saw this and their future NFL DBs immediately abided the small skinny white boy and took him out of the play which blew the whole play up.

Other than the big sack at the end, Lawson had another huge sack in the first half where he was blatantly held in the back for 2-3 seconds and still managed the sack.

He's really not he's just terribly undersized and weak and easily abused by normal SEC defenders. Gus only sends Hastings in on plays that are drawn up for him and now the other teams have caught on that when the towel boy with the killer hands is in, we're going to be looking for him.
