I'm hearing Hal Bairds name in the AD search now as well as Etheridge.

I am on board with either of those choices.

Don't you think that Tubs was fired? I believe that he was fired and then JJ lied and said that they had asked him to stay.

Not my point. We know Tubs was fired, but he officially resigned. I believe he received nearly all of his buyout. Same thing will happen with Chiz.

Because Jacobs trusts Jackson. I was told by someone else that as much of a prick as the guy is he is incredibly intelligent. Jacobs completely backs everything Jackson says and does from what I hear

Make Trooper the interim head coach, lets run this shite into the ground. I'd rather see him running up and down the sidelines the whole game waving his towel while our team shits the bed than see chizik out there.

Big battle going on between the Creed Huggers and the Petrino group among the Auburn fanbase. I don't think that I have ever seen this much fracture among the fanbase. Some of it is really nasty. I know Tubbs had his supporters, but by the time that he left I think that the vast majority were ready for him to go. If Auburn were to hire Petrino(I think that he is the best coach available- I also in no way believe he will be hired) there would be a huge divide among the fans for awhile. If Petrino came in and started winning big, I think that the majority would move into his camp. Winning solves problems and soothes feelings.

Could not agree more. Any creed huggers can frick off. I'd rather not be associated with defeatist pussies like that.

Ask Bama fans who we should hire. Whoever they say mark off. Whoever they say we DEFINITELY should not hire (Petrino), move to the top of the list.

I've heard a few Bama fans saying AU shouldn't hire Petrino on the radio. One of the host said "Sounds like Bama fans don't care to deal with Petrino at Auburn".

Chiz answering the question about why we have had a fricked up season, saying it was a "momentum" thing, made me want to throw my iPad out the window (yes, just like Cam).

From what I heard this weekend, the only way gus would ever come back is if there was a dramatic change with administration.
