Louisville is starting an entirely new secondary and has questions at QB. But Petrino is a damned good gameday coach and fielded a top 10 defense last year. My hunch is that Louisville is going to come in with nothing to lose, taking shots to get points on the board. The game will be closer than any of us would like, but AU pulls away with a late TD to make it 35-27. Jeremy Johnson looks polished as the new QB, the RBs look a bit apprehensive and the defense, while better, is still a little green around the edges.

33-20. Late drive puts auburn over double digits.
I would go with a 44-40 type prediction but UL's O-Line is in rough shape. They'll get it together by mid-end season but not in the first game in the dome against an SECW favorite.
