Don't at all agree. You have to figure the game is going to come down to 1 play no matter what. Might as well make that play be on your terms.

It worked out, but it could have worked just as well picking up the first.

He did make the terms, it was his choice.

That's not what I mean and you know it, I hope.

I know what you meant, but I decided to use it for my benefit.

My point was that it shows where the defense is at that it was a call that could be argued.

Again, the defense will improve, but this year is going to be painful to watch.

I do not hate the call. But honestly, at this point I would have more confidence in Barber getting one yard than stopping Kentucky from getting to FG range with more than a minute left.

It is what it is though. And I am glad to see the W.

Sometimes I miss the "River Boat Gambler" days.

I liked it. UK was having success stopping us on obvious running situations late in the game, our punter is solid, we were at the 50, and they had no timeouts. If we get stuffed we are definitely screwed.

It was a weak arse bad call, glad Kentucky can't catch and we aren't in any position to get picky about our wins so whatever I'll take it but it's the 3rd of 4th time Gus has shown no guts on 4th and less than a yard this year.

Are you serious? You're going to listen to the guy whose defense has given up 500 yards to one of the worst offenses in the SEC?

Besides of course Muschamp is going to say we can stop them, he has to.

What happened to the Gus that talked Chizik into going for it on 4th down against bama in 2010 and threw a timing route to the sideline?

He had Cam Newton and a championship caliber team. Not a team that was struggling to get a push against a weak UK oline.

We weren't struggling so much we were getting hit in the backfield, we were gaining yards most every play. Part of the reason we are struggling may be the fact Gus won't show any confidence in any of them.

He turned SW loose a little bit in the first half we looked the best we have all season. Second half he goes full on prevent offense mode and we barely do anything.

If we are gonna go down at least go down swinging.

Towards the end we were definitely not getting the same push we had to start the game. They were crashing hard when they knew it was a run. I wish earlier they had done something to the effect of play-action and tag someone on the seam. Their LB's were selling out on the run. But that's a whole other argument.

No, it wasn't a bad call. Auburn won.
