I like it. I want a HC that succeeds or is fired on his terms.

Based on our very poor 3rd down success (or lack if), he sucks

Maybe. But you can't dicatate what he does, then be upset with the outcome.

I could 100% tell. It genuinely looked more organized, just because it was 1 voice doing it all. On the other hand, rather bland and not very creative.

1 thing that shocked me was he had Sal Cannella run a corner route on that TD. That is not a route I've ever seen Sal run that far out from the end zone. One of my peeves of Gus has been that he finds out the routes that WRs run well and they're pigeon-holed to ONLY run those routes, which makes it much easier to gameplan against and predict the play call. Hopefully we do that more.

Let gus call the plays from now on. Use chips salary to get someone to recruit o-linemen and running backs.

The only way I would get back on the bus is after 2 consecutive SECC, and 1 NC. In other words, it ain't happening.

The fact that we’re 6 years in to Gus’ tenure and it’s still breaking news who is calling offensive plays speaks volumes. Never has a coach been this indecisive about play calling duties

Per PM, and pretty much everyone else. Chip isn't expected to return next season

Said this in another thread, then went back and researched it more thoroughly:

We ran 82 offensive plays in this game (61 rushing attempts, 21 passes). We may have not done well on 3rd down, but frankly we didn't need to, because we ran a whopping 81.7% (62/82) of our plays on 1st or 2nd down.

Yeah, it was Liberty. But let's not act like we struggled mightily on offense, which some were predicting.

Won't stop us from getting monkeyhammered Saturday, but if Gustav was really calling the plays, it was the best our offense has looked all year. And Liberty was far from the worst team we played (looking in your direction, Arky).

Then Gus threatens to leave for The Ohio St.

Auburn gives him another $30M to stay.

Gus Hires Rhett Lashlee as OC.

Auburn enters year 8 of Groundhog Day.
