So, obviously we won't be firing Gus, because that's just ridiculous and we don't want a shitty revolving door. That said, if the season continues as it has there will need to be a blood price paid. Would Gus throw Lashlee to the wolves?

No he won't and he shouldn't. This is Gus's fault as he is the play caller. If anyone goes, it should be him.

I say promote Champ to HC, give him 2 years and see how he does.

If JJ had been a competent qb like advertised, none of this would be in question. How many top 10 teams have to bench a starting qb by week 3?

I'd like to see Lashlee get a job offer and take it. I think Gus needs help putting together a playbook that will be more consistent with better receiver routes. We are doing a really poor job of getting receivers open for whatever reason.

What good would it do? Gus is the supposed one calling the plays. He has set himself up for no out other than someone above him being fired. Its a conundrum that his superiors weren't smart enough to see.

He is the only coach showing improvement. The defense was pretty damn strong in the 2nd half. The offense got worse.

No. I know it's hard not to be appalled at this shitshow, but tonight was a marked improvement. Defense played very well, in my opinion. Muschamp will right the ship on defense. Sean White is going to be a good one for us. The dude is a gamer and a leader. I'm super excited about our future with him. If he had been the QB from the start, I believe we'd be looking at an entirely different season.

I think he needs to cut this OC shite out and just be honest. Run your fricking offense. Your OC is just a pawn. Gus is not a CEO coach, and we've had more than enough of those.

Offense needs to adapt. It needs to be more spread with more receiving options. We don't have to abandon the read option, but it can't be the whole offense. I'm not interested in coaching changes just for the sake of changing. These 2 should be bright enough to adjust.

It sucks when 3-4 defensive lineman can stop the run and every receiver is covered when you try to pass. And it really sucks when that's the case in every game.

How do you fix that?

Yep. Gus had no idea how Sean was going to play in this situation. He handled it well and I think Gus will have a better plan for him in the next few games.

Agree. Gus has had a different O for every QB he has had at Auburn. He put up record breaking numbers with Chris Todd. That guy had bathtub mobility.

UFC has a fight night tonight from Japan on Fox Sports 1. Roy Nelson/Josh Barnett is the main event.

Oh... Nope, watching Parks and Rec. Link, if possible.
