Given that we always seem to get bit by the injury bug, also give OT3 and OG3 as the guys to slide in for an injured OL
LT- Prince Tega
LG- Mike Horton
OC- Austin Golson
RG- Braden Smith
RT- Darius James
OT3- Prince Sammons
OG3- Marquel Harrell

LT - Darius James | Prince Sammons
LG - Mike Horton | Marquel Harrell
C - Austin Golson | Kaleb Kim
RG - Braden Smith | Tyler Carr
RT - Prince Tega | Calvin Ashley
I think Harrell is ends up being the 6th OL next season when we go unbalanced

LT- James
LG- Smith
C- Golson
RG- Horton
RT- Tega-Wanagho
Smith gets moved to the blind side because he's more talented and experienced than any of the other guards. Should suit him well.
Zero chance Tega starts at LT next year. He's been playing football 3 years (one he sat out with a broken leg) and idk if he played both ways in HS. You don't want somebody at LT who's never played a live snap on OL before

I agree but supposedly he can play tackle in a pinch. A better fit for guard version for Avery Young

Thought it was interesting the OL they went with
LT - Prince Tega
LG - Darius James
C - Austin Golson
RG - Mike Horton
RT - Braden Smith
Not sure I like moving Smith to RT but will be interesting to see what Hand does to get the best guys on field next season

Why would we take a tackle and make him a guard and take a guard and make him a tackle?

Marcello's reasoning was that James apparently is more comfortable at guard and Tega has the frame you expect from a LT. Then for Smith & Horton was just trying to get them both on the field
I don't really want Smith moving to RT. I think he is a better fit at guard. We will see just thought that was interesting prediction

I think Tega will eventually be a LT. He as All-Pro type potential. But he's never played OL before and it'd be really scary playing the defending National Champs in week 2 with him at LT. Just seems like it'd make more sense to let him learn at RT first where there's more room for error

I don't know what to say about that. I'm speechless.

I'm talking about his size, frame, athleticism, strength, even his intelligence. You see him when he walks off the bus and he is THE prototype of what you want physically in a LT. He has all the natural tools to be as elite as they come. That's what we call potential if you didn't know what that word means.
He practiced at OL this season, but did he ever play it in the one year he played football in HS?
What exactly is funny about what I said? Everybody recognizes Gus potential or he wouldnt already be getting talked about as a starter with ZERO experience. And that's the reason I stated concern about his starting so early at LT.
Maybe you misunderstood my post. But if you had the reading comprehension of a 5th grader you would've understood what I was saying. Or maybe this is just another in a long of completely wrong predictions about Auburn football from the dumb frick who said JF3 would start and we'd go 5-7. You have zero credibility left, your opinion is worthless here

Kyle Davis

That almost makes too much sense.
Rotate Darius Slayton and Ryan Davis in, and you have a really good rotation.
