He was fourth on the depth chart at one receiver position, even behind Jason Smith.

Which leads me to my next question...

What the hell happened to Jason Smith?

His size and frame are better suited for LT. He was a very good DE prospect, but there's a reason you don't see a ton of 6'8" DEs. Hard to get the right leverage at that height and it adds a split second to getting out of your stance which can make a difference. He had very good film, but that was against private school white kids half his size. For all we know he came in and looked average against real competition.

It wasn't just a convenient move depth-wise for the team, it was the right move for his career. His ceiling is exponentially higher at OT, and I fully believe he has the right stuff mentally to reach his physical potential.

LG - Darius James
C - Austin Golson
RG - Mike Horton
RT - Braden Smith


This is very possible. Don't count out Sammons, or Harrell.
