He would have played much longer if Dr. Andrews had been around then. His son played at my former HS, GACS (Grtr Atl Chr Sch), Micah Andrews. He was pretty good, went to UTC, played well there.

3 of the 4 analysts on NFL.com plus Kiper and McShay have G-Rob to the Rams at #2 so I would say they are trending ATM.

I support this. Sorry Falcon fans

I'd rather take Matthews honestly...so sue me

Oh and we just released Garrett Reynolds so the Carimi signing makes sense

I wouldn't. He occasionally got beat by guys he had no business getting beat by like Ladarius Owens. G-Rob's holding issues are more correctable IMO.

bumping this to have somewhere to discuss Falcons draft...it would immediately go to shite on MSB so...I just ran a mock draft with Falcons and I like the way it turned out:

(6) Greg Robinson - OT - Auburn
(37) Stephon Tuitt - DE - Notre Dame
(68) Trevor Reilly - DE - Utah
(99) Jeremy Hill - RB - LSU
(135) Daniel McCullers - DT - Tennessee
(166) Trai Turner - OG - LSU
(197) Khairi Fortt - LB - Cal

Can I have whatever you're smokin? People are talking about him being #1 or #2 after his combine work the past few days.

Do you not know how mock drafts work? He wasn't taken in the first five picks of the mock draft, therefore he was available at 6

My point is it's no a realistic mock draft so no point getting hopes up.

That would be a pretty solid draft class were it to work out that way.

The way all the pros are drooling over G-Rob it does not appear that way. In fairness to you though. Nobody expected Fairley to drop like he did a few years ago.

Are you a player? That would be pretty cool.

Fairley was out performed at the combine by Dareus and his measurements came up short.

Greg measured as good or better than expected and performed at a level higher than expected

That would be a dream draft for the Falcons.

But (1) I don't think they're gonna go OL in the 1st round with either Clowney or Mack available and (2) Robinson ain't gonna be available at #6.

@AdamSchefter After watching #Auburn OT Greg Robinson, some NFL scouts have compared him to former Cowboys Hall-of-Fame Larry Allen.

No pressure, Greg.

I also grew up a Saints fan since I was in Mobile. Other than the 2 Saints/Falcons games each year I never saw another Falcons game til I moved to Prattville in 1988 where I was forced to watch the Falcons since I moved into the Montgomery Market.

It wasn't just the combine

I snuck into Cam and Nick's proday at Auburn...met John Elway, etc

During that, the rumors were Fairley would go 1 or 2 overall and Cam might be a mid 1st pick

a LOT changes after pro-days and until the draft

Look at the year I moved to Prattville. I was not even in high school yet. I can remember watching the Saints as far back when I was 3 years old.
