94 vs LSU and I can't remember the year but we were playing Florida with Rob Pate's brother and Mayo Sowell as our starting LB's due to injury. It was windy as hell and that kept Spurrier from being able to use his vertical passing game. Seems like we were unranked and Florida was top 5ish.

Easily mine.

Been to plenty more exciting games because of what was on the line, but no greater games.

Jealous of all y'all. I only became a "real" AU fan a couple years ago upon acceptance into grad school there. My only game so far is AU vs. Arky 2012

I remember sitting in the student section after they pulled out KF and put in CM. A few people started chanting KF's name(I guess they wanted to see him back in) and some dude near me said "frick that".

I wasn't at the 1990 FSU game. I was in Virginia Beach VA (active duty Navy).

But my son was born about 7 hours after the game ended.

It was great. FSU was really good that year and no one stayed within a TD of them except us and Miami.

FSU had the better team and should have won the game. But Bowden screwed up with a fumble-rooskie at midfield in the 4th Q that allowed us to score and tie the game.

Then with about 20-30 seconds left, Bowden went for it on 4th down on about our 40 yrd line trying to get into position for a game winning FG. Up until that point the best case scenario was we hold on for a tie.

Ricky Sutton knocked the QB off balance and he stumbled backwards before finally doing sommersault to land on his arse with a 20 yard loss. Suddenly we went from about to lose to almost FG range to win. Stan White hit Herbert Casey on a short slant, we ran out the fg kicker and he nailed it right as time expired.

AU fans stayed in the stadium and mocked FSU fans with their tomahawk chop with the AU band's help for a good 20 minutes after the clock hit 0:00.

The final 5 minutes of that game are probably my favorite 5 minutes I have ever witnessed. We got our arse kicked all night but got two huge breaks and Jordan Hare lost its fricking mind on the Sutton sack and winning FG seconds later. Totally erupted.

Oh, I SAW the game, I just didn't attend.

It was the Saturday night ESPN game that weekend. Game ended at around 11:00 Eastern time. I ended up watching highlights on CNN and ESPN for another couple of hours, got to sleep around 2:00 Sunday morning.

At about 4:00 my (now ex-)wife was waking me up to take her to the hospital. About 6:00 AM my son was born.

Memorable night it sounds like.

I think I was in junior high. Was with my parents and we probably got back to B-ham around 1-2am I guess. That was the first time I remember AU fans staying in the stadium so long after the game and continuing to cheer till the players came back out of the dressing room for a curtain call.

We recorded the game on the ole VCR (like we always did back then for televised games we were going to) and my parents and I re-watched the 4th quarter when we got back home. I kept the tape and watched the game several times over the years as well. I finally lost it when I moved from Atlanta about 6 years ago.

Yeah, it was so much fun doing the chop after that game at the annoying FSU fans. One of my favorite Auburn game memories.

The Tenn game that year that ended in a tie was a great game and comeback as well, and ranks high on my list.

Just saw a replay of 1994 LSU @ AU on Fox Sports South.

I was there, never seen anything like that before.

probably won't ever again

the 2001 Florida game was a great one. That night just had some kind of different vibe, I wasn't sure Auburn would win but I guess since Auburn has always kind of had UF's number, I knew something big might happen.

the 2003 Iron Bowl.

that first play of the game when Cadillac broke loose for 80 yards seemed to erase a lot of the outside BS from that week. I remember a lot of people were calling for Tubs to get fired because so many had expected much more for Auburn in 2003. Kind of funny, perfection came the next year.

Me too. Seeing as Mayo Sowell was on the 2004 team as well.

I think the most fun I had was at the West Virginia game in 2009. The whole atmosphere with the crazy monsoon, everyone staying in the student section during the storm, and us eventually winning the game was great.

What is really funny is I remember a specific interview with Tubs and he even said he felt like 2004 would be a year to do great things...
