We saw the speed.

Do you think he will take situational snaps versus A&M ?

I think we should stick with SW going forward, but I must admit that JF3 speed is electric. I just hate to break a rhythm with running basically wildcat.

It will depend. Can we run the ball against a legit Dline without using JFIII?

Part of the reason the play calling was crazy last week is Gus knew we couldn't just line up and run it at Clemson with SW. Nor did he trust JFIII not to fumble.

IMO if JFIII plays a lot it will be the Oline is loosing the battle up front.

Who d you think is the culprit? Or is it just chemistry, etc?

Cox is not Prosch. I hope he develops.

Why couldn't we run it against Clemson?

White is good enough to throw the ball some. That opens up the running game. Gus's offense also uses tempo, which keeps the defense on their heels. We saw last night that a White-led offense can run tempo.

I don't think Franklin has much of a role to be honest. We have two good running backs - a bruiser and a slasher. We have receivers that can catch. We got into a rhythm last night, and substituting JFIII in and out throughout the game would only hinder that.

Last nights SW offense can compete with anyone. JFIII bench.

Pump the brakes a little. Don't go under the speed limit but stay 5 MPH over and you should be OK. That was not a good team we played last night. I was impressed but not ready to crown us yet

I'm somewhere in the middle. Yes, they're not a good team, BUT we did exactly what we should do to a team with that talent level. We crushed them. There are plenty of instances in the last few years where we've struggled to get started against teams with far less talent.

As far as JFIII, we left before he came in but listened on radio. I was hoping he'd get more snaps last night. He has speed and I think he should be used smartly moving forward and not in a herky jerky way like in Clemson.

Yea, I agree but it is so hard to tell how players and teams will do when the opponent can win the game. We didn't get to see that in the Clemson game because of how it was called. Last night was great seeing the big plays and guys making plays but we will not be able to lean on the big plays against better defenses. Its just too hard to tell either way so I just want to temper expectations till we do so. But I loved what I saw last night..

As for JF3, I also wanted to see him more early. I thought maybe Gus would start him in the second half but he just may not be ready or the big of a role. If he would have came in earlier and faltered, it could have sucked some of the energy and momentum out of the team. Don't want that. Sean also gained some confidence last night which is also good.

By the time JF3 came in, both teams had subbed everyone and he would not playing with or against the first string guys. But he looked impressive running the read. I would have loved to see him make a few short passes though so we know he could do that.

I was only speaking on the offense. It was very well-rounded with a run-first mindset. Im looking forward to watching our defense next week against ATM.

Double QB system with him and SW out there together.

Would have like to seen him throw the ball once last night. If for no other reason than to get it on film for the other coaches to have to game plan for. I was also curious as to how his arm is, accuracy, etc.

Unfortunately, it is clear JFIII doesn't know the playbook. Because of that, it will be tough for him to play much. He will have a package of 3 to five plays. Hopefully he can run them effectively a few times.

I think they got their mojo back after Ark St tied it up 7-7. All I wanted was for the mojo and excitement to come back. Mission accomplished. All is for nothing if we don't win the next two weeks. Going to be tough.

I agree, I enjoyed watching that game, but A State was not very good.

The next two weeks will provide much better tests, and we need to play a lot better to win the next two weeks.

However, I will say had Gus employed the offense we saw last night we beat Clemson, with that said I am not convinced Clemson is the #2 team in the country.

Gus was obviously our most improved player from week one to week two.
