Tony Stephens has badass potential. Denson... man, I hope he shows up this year. It's about time for Ricardo to break out. He was one of my favorite recruits in recent years.

CAP only 5 lbs heavier than Mason?

Yea that's why i never understood this reference by some posters on this board saying Mason was too small to be an every down back, but Dyer's size was ok...both them and CAP all have pretty comparable measureables...(not comparing running styles)

fwiw, Bradley tweeted a couple days ago he was 6-1, 288 (down over 30 pounds from when he reported). Looks like his weight is a little inflated on the pre-practice roster, but not too bad. Leads me to believe most of the heights are pretty accurate buy the weights may be slightly inflated.

There is a tiny part of me that wants to see him succeed. The meltdown would be so glorious, it could be worth it

In my spare time this week, I have wondered what the fall out would be if Gus starts Frazier in the first few games and Frazier goes all Frazier on us. I really think our own fan base at this point would boo his arse off the field. I just dont think people will get over how bad he played.

I know Campbell did something similar but Jason did not follow Cam Newton...

Say what you want but Gus is in a bad situation with Frazier and Holland.

Ehh, not really. Holland has a much better shot at starting than Frazier, and that says ALOT. Frazier has apparently not looked good all summer. And with Holland, I could maybe see him starting, but I think the chances of 2 of Frost, McKinzy, and Flowers beating him out are much higher

I don't think either are in a position to start anyways. I could possibly see Frazier starting not really Holland though.

Edit: Looks like me and AMM aren't on the same page

College kids shouldn't be booed, but the answer to your question is yes.

It would be justified as booing the coach and not the kid, but still doesn't sit right with me.

ETA: Thought you were talking about Frazier. Not sure if there will be boos for Holland. People focus more on the QB.

I just think Kiehl has played himself out of the competition. Jay G Tate is one of the guys I respect the most when it comes to team analysis, and he has almost given up hope on Kiehl. Holland has somehow managed to stay on the field the past 2 seasons, so I wouldn't be that surprised if he did it again

I actually like this...it implies that he has already lost his job

I haven't really read the reports from the 7 on 7s or whatever they are because I don't much stock in them. My view is we have McKinzy who was already better than Holland last year and then we have Flowers, Frost , and apparently Mitchell who Johnson was high on. While at QB it's either Marshall or Frazier. Possibly Wallace but he started to look like Frazier in the spring game. Plus Gus has connections with Frazier and Frazier's been running Gus' system for a long time.

Just seems more likely Frazier starts than Holland to me but I don't think either do.

I thought Wallace looked better than Frazier. Kiehl still has problems hitting a damn screen pass for Christ's sake. He just sucks, period. At least Wallace can throw semi-accurately in the short game and actually has poise.

Definitely agree.

I'm just overjoyed that football is actually starting again
