Can someone give me an example of a time where not playing a QB because we were trying to save his redshirt helped us

My guess is zero. If Woody was good enough to play this year, my feeling is he would have played. I bet he is no better than anyone else we haver right now which is why he has not played

All of this. My nephew said word around campus was that Woody wasn't grasping the offense. Just rumors.

That's alarming. Can't seem to grasp five passing plays and a variety of ways to hand the ball off.

He didn't give them a chance to win with that Mickey Mouse BS of an offense. It's like he didn't bother to watch any film on Bama from this season and didn't know how good their defense is. We're sending an overpaid HS coach out there against arguably the best college coach of all time. What do you really expect to happen?

As far as Woody goes, my concern is that he's the second coming of JJ. Highly touted out of HS but then he sat and "learned" under Gus and Rhett's "expert tutelage" and ended up a total bust and waste of a scholarship.

if we were talking about any other coach I'd agree but with Gus this means shite. remember how and where we found Pettway.

And practice translate to games completely?

It certainly should come close. But instead Gus picks his favorites and run 5 minutes period in practice instead of having actual competition.

Guess you loved 5star Roc Thomas last year. After all, he was Mr. Football.
