I expect more of the same we have seen under Garner. We get blown off the Los against the run and cannot produce pressure against the pass. No reason yet to expect anything different

I expect everyone on that list to get drafted honestly (at this point), except Kennion, Johnson and Swain. Mainly due to the fact I've never seen these guys play/not highly rated. I think Paul James and Holland wreak havoc. Antwan Jackson by all accounts is real deal (who knows, optimistic though).

Nope. Not gonna do it. We haven't played "defense" since Tubbs left. I've been sucked in every year with the preseason defense hype. Not this time my friend. Never again!

why not these two? Both are very talented
Russell is at least as good as Gabe Wright is/was.
Lawrence is already starting to pop up on the draft radars after his emergence at the end of the year. He just have to put out more good tape.

having a DC below Bob Shoop and Dave Aranda isn't exactly awful. They're both fantastic DCs. Steele has pretty consistently been a top 25 defense producing DC. Give him talent, which we have, and he'll be good.

Why am I feeling so reserved about our defense? I know we have some great talent (on paper), but I am nervous about the play on the field. I hope they play up to the raking and expectations. If they do and the QB plays well enough I belive we can have at least a 10 win season. Here is to a great season.
