Exactly. I expect by Sunday we'll have had most of the firings on the current staff done and start hearing about people being offered jobs.

Melvin Smith is out after the game according to PMARSH. Harbison's status is shakey and Garner is staying, but not sure if in same position. T-rob is leading candidate to replace Smith.

Who is top candidate for DL coach? Orgeron is a good recruiter, wouldn't mind seeing that. Rocker maybe?

TAMPA, Fla. – Melvin Smith will likely coach his last Auburn football game today when the Tigers play Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl. Smith, finishing his second season as Auburn’s cornerbacks coach, has been told he will not be retained, knowledgeable sources told AuburnUndercover.

Florida defensive backs coach and former All-SEC Auburn safety Travaris Robinson is the leading candidate to replace Smith.

Let the coaching shift begin. It is easy to forget that these guys are people losing their jobs when talking shite about them. I don't think Smith is a bad DB coach but he isn't right for us. Good luck to him and it will be interesting to see who else goes and who is retained.

He made 600k while at AU. Not to mention he coached the worst unit on our team. The shite talking he gets is deserved.

We also don't get the top of class each year at the corner spot. We finally got a haul of good players last year but you can't expect undersized freshmen to be the cornerstone of a great secondary.

Who are you talking about? No one on our D staff made 600k$

We had 20+ INT this year, Melvin Smith didn't do great but woring with Mincy and Jonathan Jones means he'd have to be Jesus to make that miracle happen
