My God, I am so damn tired of political correctness. IMO, RE Lee was and still is the greatest man that this country has ever produced.

You're right and I said it was either them or KA. The only possibly two that fit his description of location. Two or so posts later it was confirmed as KA.

Robert E Lee's birthday is when KA has their semi-formal. That's why it was a big deal

It's a big deal because KA Order considers REL their "philosophical founder" or something along those lines

Thank you, Internet, for showing how much dumbassery is in the world. Not pointing at anyone, just in general...

Robert E. Lee

One of the greatest military minds in our nations history. He believed in states rights which is why he reluctantly signed on to the confederacy.

He was also hugely respected by his rival generals up north. Not a traitor or loser.

Stonewall Jackson was a much better general than Lee.

Lee's biggest advantage was the Generals he faced from the north were inept.

Lincoln asked R.E. Lee to be supreme commander of the U. S. Army if that tells you anything.

BTW, R.E. LEE, Stonewall Jackson, Patrick Cleburne, Nathan Bedford Forrest, J. E. B. Stuart were in credibly gifted commanders.

Somehow you think that is an argument that Lee wasn't an incredible General.
