re: ChexMix's takeaways from the game

Honestly, I think a lot of our scoring problems stem from not having a home run threat so far this year. I keep thinking about years like 2009\2010 and 2013, we scored so many points on deep bombs to Darvin Adams\Sammy Coates or on busting a long run. That's been totally missing this year. We have no deep threat at all in the passing game. We need to open up Ricardo Louis down the field. Kerryon Johnson has displayed that he can be a home run threat and I think his role in the offense will continue to grow.

In 2010 we still had Darvin as a deep threat and once we got into the red zone we had two things we're lacking now. We don't have a dependable tight end to go up and get the ball. Having a big TE target is helpful because our receivers are usually covered. The other thing we lack is having the read option down there. Cam and Nick were pretty dependable once we got close to the endzone. I think Sean can develop this though.
