I like White but the reality is that JJ looked better than White in practices. There's no other explanation for why JJ is still starting if White looked better or close.

Murray just so happened to be at UGA at the right time. There was no one else there. And Mettenberger had just gotten kicked out...
Mettenburger would have been the starter.

It would certainly make more sense to let him make his debut in JHS instead of on the road this past Saturday. If nothing else, if he starts I believe the fans will stick it out and be louder than if JJ starts again and flops.
1) Yes he took all snaps (100% confirmed in my mind)
2) Not as fast, but can actually make a cut.
3) Agree, 100 %.
We have ZERO choice at this point, but to try.

Are you high?
Murray had like 140 combined touchdowns. 13K+ (nearly 4k yards in '12) yards as a 4 year starter.
We don't have that sitting on the bench right now.

Franklin has been pretty electric at EMCC. He's splitting time with another QB though. Shifty runner and adequate (NM accuracy) passer.

I'd be happy with a QB who had a 1/3rd of Murray's production but actually won the big games and championships.

Better to give ourselves options is it not? Who cares if that drives a quitter to transfer. We've got a real problem at QB and nobody is sold that the answer is even on our roster.

We essentially have a Franklin iii already on our team in Jason Smith. Plus we are not sold on our QBs because only JJ has played.
