Please enlighten me on what insight Tim Cook would have on a presidential search committee that you would deem useful besides his name?

He lives and breaths Apple. He in all likelihood doesn't keep up with higher education

he's a member of Duke University's Board of Trustees. Soooo.....

Why isn't there a rep from the CADC? It's probably the best college on campus.

Not all colleges are going to be represented. Engineering, Business, Vet Med, and Agriculture are the leaders on Campus. None are represented.

Auburn is shifting its strategic budget models over the next few years from a historical standpoint. (Google if you want more) Each college will have to adjust and become more responsible for revenue and expenses. Basically each college will have greater responsibility for income and expenses.

Who on the committee represents disgruntled football fans?

Smart guy. I'd respect his opinion regarding AU athletics.
quote:

Disgruntled football fans should just want a president who hires a good AD and then stay away from athletics
You described Jay Gogue perfectly, except he inherited a bad AD from his predecessor and then stayed away from athletics, thus creating many disgruntled football fans.

And disgruntled men's basketball fans.

And disgruntled women's basketball fans.

And disgruntled baseball fans.

And disgruntled swimming fans.
