Good seems like most people on this board do nothing but complain about every little thing.

I mean, I love to have a good hard melt as much as the next guy but it's like some of you are incapable of a rational and level-headed, non-emotional response to anything related to Auburn athletics.

UGA has found out several times why you don't schedule Ga Southern. They are very good at what they do on offense. I can't imagine why we scheduled them bc they are a type of program that isn't hurting for money. They have a strong fanbase. Not thatI quite understand their program that much but they have actually have diehard fans. An Auburn grad basically built their program.

I agree I am not worried about playing Georgia Southern and I also know we will schedule these games. I just am wanting a different schedule all together one of these days.

This thread makes me sad. We are Auburn and will beat the ever living frick out of whichever bumfrick directional school wants it in our house.

If we are considering Georgia Southern a tough game now, we might as well move out of the SEC.

Nobody said we should cower in fear and be on upset alert. I fully expect us to win by 20, at least. But there's nothing wrong with admitting that GSU isn't your typical tomato can sunbelt season opener. They have an unorthodox style that we don't see very often, maybe once every several years (IF THAT), and they have done it for 30 years and do it very successfully. Saying that they aren't a gimme (which is what I said) is the truth. They aren't. I dont' think we need to remember what happened the last time our current DC played them...southern threw 3 passes (completed 0), turned the ball over twice (to florida's 0), and still won in teh swamp on teh back of 430 yards rushing.

Nobody is going to think you're a coward for admitting that southern is going to be a challenge. And as mentioned, it's completely stupid to play this game. We have NOTHING to gain from it, and it takes away an extra week (or more) of planning we should be doing for clemson.
