I think a 6-2 SEC record is doable.

ETA: 10-2 with our non-con schedule.

Very realistic path to 12-team playoff.

Not a terrible draw, but man i was hoping for a better home draw. No LSU or any Miss school sucks

Ferguson:

quote:

2024 will be the first year Auburn…

- hasn't played LSU since 1991
- hasn’t played Ole Miss since 1989
- hasn’t played Mississippi State since 1954
- hasn’t played any of them since 1933

End of an era, boys. I finally feel old now

Only Bama and UGA out of the big six is disappointing if I’m being honest.

Maybe somehow through all this mess we can fix the Bama and UGA games being both away or home every year.

Yep. When they re-do the schedules for 25, let’s just play at UGA again and fix it. Return the twice they played at AU.

I’m all for it. Need to get Georgia and Alabama alternating. Then put Georgia back in amen corner.

What a horrible schedule.

Boring at home

Tough as nails on the road.

kinda iffy on this one.

Always felt like we crushed ourselves at the end of the year with bama, uga and an SECCG. Thats a tough row to hoe

I’m good with the schedule. Auburn has a top 3 hardest schedule every year. With the conference expanding like it is, inter-division streaks were obviously going to end. I have no shame in being happy about not having murderer’s row for once.

ETA: I guess we could do like UGA does with GT and pretend that our games against the MS schools are sacred even though we just want the near automatic win.

It is only one year and then we see what the true realignment is. First year of the 12 team playoff and we have the easiest schedule in years.
