I've never met a girl with the last name Waldrop that wasn't a cute blonde. Weird

ETA: so anyway, we lose several good players, but return the best hitter in the country and our 3 most attractive players. I like our chances

We return Carlson and Martin in the circle which helps.

LF- vacant
CF- Draper
RF- Gipson
3B- Cooper
SS- Jordan
2B- vacant
1B- vacant
C- Wallace
Haley Fagan will be back and could play 2B or maybe even LF as she's definitely athletic enough.

Casey McCrackin could take the #9 spot if we move Draper to lead off and Bree Fornis will have a say in that as well along with Morgan Podany. All 3 SO next year that can run.

As far as the infield goes I'm not sure. I wouldn't be surprised to see Courtney Shea play some at 1B and continue as a back-up to Wallace behind the plate when needed. I don't know what the incoming freshman class looks like so we'll see. It seems to be easy for freshman to contribute immediately though.. just look at the 4 that anchored Oklahoma's lineup.

Pretty sure our recruiting is top notch so we've got that going for us.

That was a great series to watch. I hate that they made some mistakes tonight and let it slip away, but it was a great effort. I think they have set the stage to be a dominant program, and hopefully Meyers and his son love the plains and want to stay forever.

It's amazing how one elite coach can turn around a pretty insignificant program and make it a powerhouse.

In year 1 we probably already had one of the best years the program has ever seen and were extremely close to winning the Minnesota regional (although #1 seed Oregon would have bounced us almost assuredly in Eugene in the Supers)

The next two years we have been rolling. Looks like this is one program we have on extremely stable footing.

However, Oklahoma returns Parker and most of this team. I think I also heard they bring in the top high school pitcher to add to their pitching staff? They are going to be the favorites next year, no doubt about it.

that's insane
