Game over. Florida wins 4-3. If AU had played sound ball they would be up 3-2 going to bottom 9.

Lulz. AU had the bases loaded with no outs, then a failed bunt for a strikeout and a ground ball into a double play. AU comes away with nothing.

Well this is interesting. Former UGA national champion coach & SEC analyst Dave Perno has AU in a regional over Mizzou & UK even though they have 15 & 14 conference wins respectively & doesn't even consider AU a bubble team. His reasoning? Mizzou & UK's RPI is 57 & 56 respectively right now & there has never been an SEC at large team make the regionals w/ an RPI lower than 48 regardless of conference record. IF his prediction is right then Mizzou would have to win 2 games (SCar & Vandy, Florida, or Ole Miss) & UK beat us this week to break that historically RPI 48 threashhold to get a regional bid.

If you want Auburn's regional chances to increase pull for Mizzou to lose to SCar in the game playing now. I don't think a team w/ an RPI in the 60s will get an at large bid which is wear Mizzou would be if they lose today.

Stoopid stoopid base running costs AU a run in the 1st inning. Grier tried to go home on a pitch that barely got away from the catcher. He would have scored on the deep ground out by Roberts.

Top 3rd. We get hosed on the back end of a check swing strike em out throw em out double play. Runner was clearly safe at 2nd but was called out.
