My roommate and I will definitely be there. Montevallo is usually a pretty solid team, so it'll be interesting to see how we do.

With effectively 3-4 new young starters, implementing the full court and trying new things, I imagine this game will be closer than it should be.

We have a closed scrimmage tomorrow in Chattanooga vs UTC. It's against NCAA rules to release any stats or info from these type scrimmages so I wouldn't expect to hear much. Still it's good that they will get to travel and play against some D1 competition before we kick it off for real in 2 weeks

Any word on the scrimmage? Doesn't UTC put a rather decent team on the court occasionally?

They returned 4 starters from a team that finished 26-9. Only thing I've seen is purifoy went off and had 23 pts 13 rebs and 5 assists.

Few other notes to add from the scrimmage vs UTC. Auburn dominated from the opening tip and won by close to 40. Also in addition to what I posted about Purifoy evidently Heron played very well too.
Both pg's played well as well as Laron Smith. UTC is picked to win their conf.

There was talk that Heron would come off bench. Plus having two true FR in the lineup

Considering Pearl's statements in preseason thus far, I think that's pretty much a given.

Audio only. Other schools have theirs available with video but for some reason Auburn isn't able even though the game is a sell out with standing room only. The excuse has something to do with not having the manpower/time to take the equipment from the arena to JHS for a game tomorrow but like I said other schools do it. They could even just use the same feed they use for the video board but apparently that is asking too much as well.

I'll see if I can get a Periscope stream going of the game since I'll be there.
I see no reason why they can't set a webcam up and stream the game. Seems pretty absurd to not put in that level of minimum effort
If it is not wanting to put out a "bad product," they should just give the rights to a journalist like JayTate or 247 and let them live stream the game
